Guys, how amazing does decluttering feel?
This past summer my MIL spent a lovely three months with us. She is the queen of decluttering I tell you! Well initially, the hoarder in me wasn’t very pleased with the idea of getting rid of old possessions. We spent a couple of weekends cleaning out section by section of my apartment and throwing away unnecessary, unused items. And boy, did it feel good?!
Well, since then I’ve made it a point to clear up spaces of my apartment every so often. One one recent weekend, Sneh and I woke up to what was supposed to be a lazy Saturday, but ended up spending three early, early morning hours clearing and arranging our documents and storage closet, followed by some cleaning. Productive morning indeed.
By the time we were done, we were so HANGRY. Good thing I had a cooked butternut squash and sweet potato that I had popped into my Instapot the night before. Once the butternut squash is cooked, this hummus pulls together in less than 10 minutes, needs only 7 ingredients, and is super creamy. It pairs so well with these sweet potato kebabs – my absolute favorite combination this fall!
I bet you could try this with pumpkin puree as well, and make it a part of your fall-inspired gathering 🙂
